The mass migration consists of 72,000 migrants trying to gain access to the Spanish enclave of Ceuta from Morocco. While the majority of adult migrants have already departed either voluntarily or forcibly, there are still thousands of migrants who are trapped in the enclave of Ceuta, including 1,000 children without any adults. The result is over 75 fatalities reported by the Spanish sources and 11 by the Moroccan authorities. Meanwhile, Spain gave €25 million for the maintenance of the children, and EU ministers discussed the issue of border protection and other topics.
